How to: View or download your certificate
Summary
When you complete a pathway, the action button on that pathway card changes to Certificate. Selecting it opens your proof of completion so you can view, print, or save it.

What you’ll need
Before you begin, make sure you have:

A Volunteer account in Safe Pathways

Access to the Home page in your Volunteer dashboard

At least one pathway showing Your Status: Completed
Before you start
Once a pathway is completed, the button on that pathway card changes from Start Here or Continue to Certificate.
Selecting Certificate opens your proof of completion for that pathway.
You can then use your browser’s print or save options to:

Print the certificate

Save it as a PDF
-
Keep it for your records or share it if requested by your church
Steps to view or download your certificate
1. Open the Home page
In the left-side menu, click Home.
2. Find a completed pathway
Under Your pathways, locate a pathway card that shows Your Status: Completed.
3. Select Certificate
On the completed pathway card, click Certificate.
4. View, print, or save the certificate
When the certificate opens, use your browser’s print or save options to print it or save it to your device.
For example, you may be able to use Print > Save as PDF.
5. Return to Home if needed
After viewing or saving your certificate, return to Home to continue any remaining pathways or policy acknowledgement tasks.
What happens next
If your church asks for proof of completion, share your certificate using your church’s preferred process.
Your completed pathway should continue to show as completed until the Active until date shown on the pathway card.
Troubleshooting
I do not see a Certificate button

You may not have completed a pathway yet.

Start by completing your assigned pathway. Once it is finished, the button should change to Certificate.

The certificate does not open

Refresh the page and try again.

If it still does not open, try a different browser.
