Viewing or downloading your certificate

Summary

When you complete a pathway, your certificate appears in the Certificates section of your Training page, and Safe Pathways also emails it to you. Open it to view, print, or save your proof of completion.

Who this is for

Volunteers

What you'll need

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A volunteer account in Safe Pathways
  • At least one completed pathway

Before you start

Certificates for every pathway you have completed live in one place: the Certificates section at the bottom of your Training page.

When you finish a pathway, Safe Pathways also sends the certificate to your email address, so check your inbox if you'd rather save it from there.

You can use your browser's print or save options to:

  • Print the certificate
  • Save it as a PDF
  • Keep it for your records or share it if requested by your church
  • Steps to view or download your certificate

1. Open Training

In the left-side menu, click Training.

2. Scroll to the Certificates section

Your completed pathways are listed there, each with its certificate.

3. Open the certificate

Select the certificate you need. It opens as your proof of completion for that pathway.

4. View, print, or save it

Use your browser's print or save options, for example Print, then Save as PDF.

What happens next

If your church asks for proof of completion, share your certificate using your church's preferred process.

Your completed pathway continues to show as completed until its renewal date, which appears on the pathway card.

Troubleshooting

I do not see any certificates

You may not have completed a pathway yet. Finish your assigned pathway and the certificate appears in the Certificates section.

The certificate does not open

Refresh the page and try again. If it still does not open, try a different browser, or use the copy emailed to you when you completed the pathway.

Notes

Certificates live in the Certificates section of the Training page.

Safe Pathways emails your certificate when you complete a pathway.

Use your browser's print or save feature to keep a copy.
